 Ana M. Gamez, Ph.D., MBA, is a licensed clinical psychologist who brings to Badge of Life, 501 (C)(3), more than two decades of law enforcement experience and more than two decades of graduate-level university teaching in Forensic Psychology. Dr. Gamez is the CEO of Bee Haven Psychological & Behavioral Health Wellness, Inc. She also serves as a Program Director for the Forensic Psychology graduate program at California Baptist University. Dr. Gamez provides nonprofit leadership to community organizations to help fulfill their mission and vision, and has served on several boards (e.g., MADD, Titchener Clinic for Children).  She is a retired Police Psychologist with the LA Sheriff’s Dept., where she consulted with department managers and executives, always seeking to advance employee wellness initiatives. She also conducted curriculum development and provided emergency response and clinical services to department employees. Dr. Gamez has served as a national grant reviewer and is a published author and researcher. She has served on several committees, including the IACP Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the Ethics Committee. She also served on the ethics committee for the national psychologist examination.  Dr. Gamez earned a PhD in clinical psychology (LLU), an MBA in general business (WTAMU), an MS in forensic psychology (CSULA), a BA in psychology (CSULA), an AA in Liberal Arts from East LA Community College, and a graduate certificate in diversity and inclusion from Cornell University.
